SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

During the morning programme, the following invited lectures will be presented: R. Broughton (Canada): In memory of Bedřich Roth S. Nevšímalová (Czech Republic): Bedřich Roth´s ideas in present-day light M. Billiard (France): Idiopathic hypersomnia E. Mignot (USA): Narcolepsy and Hypocretin: Neurobiology, genetics and immunology C. Bassetti (Switzerland): Clinical spectrum of narcolepsy G. Mayer (Germany): Comorbidity of narcolepsy and implications of age at onset in narcolepsy T. Pollmächer (Germany): Metabolic aspects of narcolepsy The afternoon programme will be devoted to the free communications. Participants are encouraged to submit by February 15, 2009 an abstract of their contribution (short oral or poster) on narcolepsy and hypersomnia and related topics. Abstracts should be prepared according to the following instructions: 1. An abstract should not exceed 300 words, use MS Word (*doc, *rtf) 2. Abstract sample: TITLE - CAPITAL LETTERS - 14 pt bold Times New Roman Double spaced Authors - 10 pt (presenting author is to be underlined) Institution of each author, town, country - 10 pt italic Double spaced The main text should be typed with Times New Roman 12 pt (or similar), single spacing. 3. Send your abstract before February 15, 2009 as an attached file to the address conference@conference.cz. 4. Please note that the presenting autor must register for the symposium and pay the registration fee. 5. Mark your presentation preference (oral, poster) when sending the abstract. Prior to March 15, 2009, authors will be notified of acceptance and scheduling of their presentation. Please note that the final decision as to the form of presentation (oral or poster) and programme scheduling will be made by the Scientific Committee. For speakers, the PC computer data projection (Power Point) will be available. Authors of abstracts will have boards 2m high x 1m wide covered by grey carpet at their disposal.
