ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for participants has been reserved in the hotels of several categories in walking distance to the Symposium venue or easy reachable by public transport. The main capacity is reserved in the Symposium Venue – hotel Pyramida. Detailed description of each hotel and on-line reservation is available. Kindly note that all capacities are limited and all requests will be considered in order of receipt. Requests received after March 20, 2009 will be confirmed only within possibilities left.

Reservation:

Please send a completed Accommodation form by mail or by fax to the Conference Partners Prague Ltd. On-line reservation is also available. Inscription of your credit card data through the internet is SSL certified (Thawte certificate).

Hotel Deposits:

Reservation will be guaranteed only after receipt of the first night deposit. The balance of the hotel account has to be settled by March 20, 2009.

Cancellation Fees:

Any cancellation must be notified in writing to the Conference Partners Prague Ltd.. The payment of accommodation will be refunded in accordance with the following cancellation fees: Cancellation 31 and more days before arrival:        0 % of the whole booking value Cancellation within 30 – 22 days prior to arrival:   25 % of the whole booking value Cancellation within 21 – 16 days prior to arrival:   30 % of the whole booking value Cancellation within 15 –   8 days prior to arrival:   50 % of the whole booking value Cancellation within   7 –   0 days prior to arrival: 100 % of the whole booking value

Confirmation of Reservation:

Your booking will be confirmed upon the receipt of your Accommodation form and the hotel deposit. The hotel voucher will be sent by airmail or as PDF document via e-mail after receipt of the total amount. Reservation changes should be made directly to Conference Partners Prague Ltd. and NOT to the hotels.

Prices and VAT:

The prices indicated in the Accommodation form are partly based on Czech Crowns (CZK) and are per room and night, including breakfast, city fee and VAT. In case of exchange rate changes by more than 5% Conference Partners Prague Ltd. has the right to modify the prices.

Advice and Limitations:

Please note that in April the busiest tourist time of the year starts and hotels might be completely booked out. The capacities are limited also due to the EU Presidency of the Czech Republic and parallely starting EU – meetings in the term of our symposium. It is important to reserve your hotel in advance. Prague offers a wide range of accommodation possibilities and Conference Partners Prague Ltd. will come up to every request. If you do no find in the conference offer your favourite accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact us for special and individual offers. If you want to make a reservation on your own, please be aware that hotels in Prague often post internet prices without VAT, breakfast, and the city tax, which together are substantial amounts. Hotels often use variable pricing during the season and prices as well as conditions might change dramatically. Sometimes internet agencies offer low prices without having the rooms reserved, or they reserve rooms in different area of the city.
