TOURS |
All tours are guided by English speaking guides. The prices are per person including VAT. All tours
specially organized for the participants of the symposium will take place if attended by at least 15
persons. If not the Conference Partners Prague Ltd. will offer alternative tours from regular tour
operators. |
Reservation:
To book any of the tours the Tours form should be filled in and sent by mail or by fax to the
address of the Conference Partners Prague Ltd.
On-line reservation is also available.
Inscription of your credit card data through the internet is SSL certified. |
Tours Deposits:
Reservation will be guaranteed only after receipt of the payment for the chosen tours. It will be also
possible to book tours from regular tour operators during the Conference on site at the registration
desk at the Conference Venue. In this case kindly note that the booking should be done at least one
day before the tour starts. |
Cancellation Fees:
Any cancellation must be notified in writing to the Conference Partners Prague Ltd.. Cancellation
without any charges is possible until April 30, 2007. After this date 100 % cancellation fee will be
charged. |
Confirmation of Reservation:
Confirmation of your reservation will be sent upon receipt the Tours form and the payment. The tour
voucher will be sent by airmail or as PDF document via email. |
Prices and VAT:
The prices indicated in the Tours choice and the Tours form are based on Czech Crowns (CZK) and
are per person and tour including VAT. In case of exchange rate changes by more than 5%
Conference Partners Prague Ltd. has the right to modify prices. |
TOUR CHOICE |
Grand City Tour of Prague (3,5 hours mostly walking tour)
Price per person: EUR 22
The object of this mostly walking tour is to help the guests to become acquainted
with the city‘s historical district and its remarkable monuments.
The tour includes a visit to the Prague Castle where you will admire the Old Royal Palace,
St. Vitus Cathedral and St. George Basilica, and continues through the Lesser Town,
over the Charles Bridge and into the Old Town Square with its famous astronomical clock.

Konopiště Castle (4 hours bus tour)
Price per person: EUR 36
This tour will take the guests to one of the most noteworthy castles close to
Prague, the lovely hunting castle Konopiště built in the 14th century and rebuilt
in the 19th century. It houses fascinating collections of historical weapons,
furniture, paintings and tapestries. After a guided tour helping the visitors to
become acquainted with its history, the guests will return to Prague. |

Kutná Hora (5 hours bus tour)
Price per person: EUR 35
Due to the prosperous silver mines Kutná Hora became, after Prague, the second
most important town of the Bohemian Kingdom in the Middle Ages. Its
increasing wealth and prosperity led to the rich architectural development of
the town and gave rise to St. Barbara's cathedral, palaces – Italian Court with
Royal Mint, burgher’s houses and churches, the Stone House and other gothic
and renaissance monuments also date from this period. Kutná Hora was declared
a world heritage site and has been protected by UNESCO thereafter. On request
you can also visit the Ossuary. |

Karlštejn Castle (4 hours bus tour)
Price per person: EUR 33
Visit an outstanding medieval castle, founded and built by Emperor Charles IV
between 1348–1355 as a depository for the Empire's coronation jewels and state
documents. This large gothic castle is situated about 38 km southwest of
Prague. After a guided tour helping you to become acquainted with its history,
you will return to Prague. |

Excursion to Karlovy Vary (9,5 hours bus tour incl. lunch)
Price per person: EUR 56
This is a renowed spa town located in western Bohemia which gained its
reputation by the discovery of natural hot mineral springs. The history of the
springs originates in the Middle Ages. The waters are used to treat all the kinds
of disorders. Today there are 12 hot springs in use and the guests can drink from
them. The best known spring called Vřídlo ejects its curative water to a height
of 17 m. The tour will start with the glass exhibition of the Moser factory. After
lunch you will be shown around the spa centre. Afterwards you will be able to
swim in the thermal water swimming pool of the hotel Thermal. Take your towel
and swimming suit with you. |

KONOPIŠTĚ: This half of the tour shows you one of the most important castles
close to Prague.
You will go to the lovely hunting Konopiště castle built in the

City Tour of Prague – Jewish Quarter
(2,5 hours mostly walking tour) Price per person: EUR 33
This mostly walking tour begins with a walk showing you highlights of historical
Prague
and also includes a visit to the famous Jewish Quarter known as Josefov.
After helping you to become acquainted with the history of the former Ghetto
and the Old New Synagogue, you will be shown around the Old Jewish Cemetery.
You will also visit several synagogues. The excursion passes by the birth place
of Franz Kafka and ends in the area of the Old Town Square. |
