THE WORLD FAMILY CONFERENCE PRAGUE 2007

Call for Abstracts

The programme will consist of plenary sessions, semi-plenary sessions, short (mini) workshops, panel discussions and short formal papers, screen presentations.
An abstract of your presentation should not exceed 300 words (Microsoft Word). Programme submissions will be Published as part of the conference, if accepted for presentation.

Please submit yours abstract as follows:
a) Title. Capital letters – 14 pt.
b) Presenter’s name, institutions, town, country – 10 pt.
c) The main text should be typed – 12 pt., single spacing
d) Send your abstract via e-mail to: wfc@conference.cz
e) Pleace note that the presenters must register and pay registration fee.
f) Authors will be notified of acceptance or not of their submission by January 31, 2007
Make your submission covering one or more of the major plenary topic.

The conference programme will cover four major areas of importace:

 
1. Sameness and Diversity in Families of the Five Continents
universal family resources, mutual differences, possibilities for growth and learning.

 
2. Multidisciplinary Care of the Family
helping families within social welfare, justice, healthcare, psychology and education,
workplace and organizational leadership etc. and their mutual linkage.

 
3. Therapeutic Work with the Family
common features of the family therapists’ work with the family, theoretical principles,
attitudes and vehicles used by various approaches of family therapy, their differences
and possibilities of their connections and mutual enrichment.

 
4. The Personality and Work of Virginia Satir and her Global Legacy
Celebration of the 90th birthday of Virginia Satir.
